Linktipp: Practice with Lyrics

Hello German learners! As you may have already noticed, I like to surf through cyberspace looking for new and/or great websites that can help us learn German (there are many out there). 
These days  I came across a nice one:

Lyrics Training is a great website that allows you to practice your understanding of lyrics in music videos. You simply select the song you want to listen to and Lyrics Training will upload the video and start to play the song along with subtitles.

Depening on the level you select (beginner, intermediate, advanced), there will be certain words missing from the subtitles that you have to complete yourself as the video plays. The video and subtitles automatically stop until you have completed the missing word! You don´t know or understand the word, then simply press the Tab button to go on, or Back Space to hear the line again. The program keeps a record of the words you could not understand for you to review afterwards (Vocabulary section). At the end you get a score that shows how well you have done.

There are lots of languages to choose from (not just German) and you can add your own songs to practice. So you can shoot two rabbits at once by listening to your favorite song and learning its lyrics.

Deutschsprachige Online-Vorlesungen

Here is an interesting link I have found today and I thought it might be useful for somebody else too. You will find on this website a list of universities, colleges and other institutions that produce lecture notes and recordings of lectures, scientific conferences and other events predominantly in German language and make it available online. You need to have advanced knowledge of German (minimum level B1).
